History

Lanmei Airlines (Cambodia) Co., Ltd, a Cambodian native aviation company was founded in Mar. 7th, 2016, and commenced its maiden flight on Sep. 29th, 2017. Named after Lancang-Mekong River, Lanmei Airlines’ logo looks like a peacock spreading its tails. Lanmei Airlines chooses peacock as logo because it symbolizes propitious totem in both oriental and western culture. The six feathers of the wings-like logo represents the six Greater Mekong River countries who are the community of shared destiny & shared river. The logo also looks like a rotating aircraft engine, implying to supply new and steady thrust to these six nations.

New Lanmei Flights Route

From 7th Sep 2020, Lanmei Airlines Cambodia (LQ) will have direct flights from Singapore Changi Airport to Phnom Penh International Airport (SIN-PNH) and flights from Singapore Changi Airport to Xi’an Xianyang International (SIN-XIY) (Transit at PNH).

Schedule in September: 07SEP/14SEP/21SEP/28SEP
For transit passenger who is taking flight from SIN-XIY via PNH:

  • There will be a 15kg free luggage check-in allowance
  • Transit time only 2 hours in Pnomh Penh International Airport (PNH)
  • No Cambodia visa required

1. Travelling to Cambodia via SIN - PNH flights

For international passengers who are taking direct flights from SIN-PNH, travellers are required to follow Cambodia’s government policies:

  • Insurance cover cost USD 50,000
  • Cash deposit upon arrival at airport USD 3,000
  • Certificate of covid free results taken 72 hours before flight
  • 14 days quarantine at designated facilities

For Cambodian citizens, only need to be quarantined for 14 days at designated locations.

2. Travelling to Xi’an Xianyang International Airport (XIY)

For all passengers including Chinese nationals who is flying from SIN-XIY via PNH, travellers are required to follow the China’s government policies:

  • 5 days of valid covid test before flight
  • Get the Green HS WeChat code from the China embassy in Singapore
